September 16 (Day 1)
**REMINDERS**:
- Review and return student demographic form (purple form)
- Scholastics due October 1st
- Our library day is on day 4 (Thursday), return your books before if you would like to get new books
- Sign up for parent-teacher conferences
Today we:
- had physical education outside with M. Trevor - we practiced the Terry Fox run. Ask me how many laps I ran!
- we read the book "Mind Your Manners" while we ate our snack
- learned about photosynthesis (la photosynthèse) - ask me if I remember what it is.
- played the banjo in music
- wrote about our weekend
- looked for patterns in a 100's chart with the multiples of 3, 4 and 5
- did silent reading
- read a text about Terry Fox in French and practiced the close reading strategy to help us build understanding of a text. We use symbols to write down what we're thinking.
