September 26 (Day 2)
- Terry Fox run information:
- Starts at 8:45 am
- On Friday, I need to dress warmly for the weather for the Terry Fox Run (in layers and in safe outdoor shoes to run in rather than winter boots or rain boots). If it is snowing or raining lightly, we are still running outside. (If weather is unsafe, we will be inside.) I also need to bring a pair of dry socks to change into afterwards
- Bring a donation for the Terry Fox run
- watched a video "The Secret Life of Great Horned Owls" and we took notes so Mme could see what we understood from the video (The Secret Life of Owls)
- did our goals for the Terry Fox run - ask me what my goal is!
- read for 25 minutes in English
- corrected our French grammar - Mme reminded us to be kind to each other and everyone makes mistakes, even those correcting our homework and that's ok.
- had short quiz on patterns in math
- had social studies and learned about the Alberta flag
- observed our celery that we experimented on - ask me what happened to the celery leaves and why!
- Also, after we observed them we mixed up the colours for fun
