November 5 (Day 5)

Reminders:

• Healthy Hunger Special Lunch on Thursday
• For our Friday November 8th 10:30am Remembrance Day Assembly students who are cadets, scouts, sparks, brownies or guides are welcome to wear their uniform and participate in the procession into the gym.
• Bring/finish grammar that was due today to school (KS, EF, RR, MP, MR)

Today we:

• filmed our project on the life cycle of a plant - ask me to show you mine on IRIS (most of us have it uploaded)
• read a book on World War 1 in preparation for a letter that we are going to write to a Veteran
• measured the area of objects around the school
• Ask me which objects I chose to measure
• corrected our English grammar
• played new literacy games on French sounds, high frequency words and Social Studies vocabulary
• worked on 3 centers on French Daily 5
• got the "R" for JOURnée pyjama
